RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, in recent years, improvements have been completed along various county highways, including the planting of native landscape areas; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if the native landscape areas along these county highways are properly maintained; and
WHEREAS, the native landscape inspection and engineering plan preparation will be done by a consultant while the maintenance will be completed by a contractor through the formal bid process; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that there is hereby appropriated $205,000 of Matching Tax funds for the inspection and maintenance of the native landscape along various county highways, and designated as Section 27-00000-14-GM.
