R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Rollins Road, County Highway 31, is a designated route on the County highway system; and

WHEREAS, Lake County and the WCL believe it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Rollins Road, at its intersection Illinois Route 83, could be improved along with construction of a grade separation of the WCL/CN RR to provide increased traffic capacities (Rollins Road Gateway Improvement); and

WHEREAS, the Wisconsin Central Ltd., Homewood, Illinois, is the owner of the WCL/CN RR that crosses Rollins Road, at Illinois Route 83; and

WHEREAS, Lake County and the WCL are desirous of entering into an agreement providing the terms and conditions for the reconstruction and maintenance of the roadway crossi...
