RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there is a need to enter into a contract for lawncare and landscape services for Lake County Public Works; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication for lawncare and landscape services for various Lake County departments; and
WHEREAS, electronic bids for Lake County Public Works were received from four vendors and publicly opened on July 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the bid; the staff evaluated all bids submitted and determined that the bid submitted by Landscape Concepts Management, Grayslake, Illinois, in the amount of $218,996 is the lowest responsible and responsive bidder for Lake County Public Works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with Landscape Concepts Management, Grayslake, Illinois, for Lawncare and Landscape Service for Lake County Public Works in the estimated annual amount of $218,996.
