Rates, Fees and Charges for the Use and Service of Certain Waterworks and Sewerage Systems of the County effective December 1, 2008.
Staff Summary
• As part of the most recent rate study recommendations were made to adjust user fees to fund long term replacement costs and to institute an annual inflationary rate adjustment to maintain fiscal stability.
• User fees were modified by County Board action on November 13, 2007 and included an automatic increase of 3% for all sewer and water rates effective December 1, 2008, December 1, 2009 and December 1, 2010.
• The December 1, 2008 increase will result in an average monthly increase of $.72 for each water customer and an average monthly increase of $1.04 for each sewer customer.
• A revised rate schedule showing the most current rates will be distributed for Committee information.
