WHEREAS, the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA) has announced the continuation of the State’s Attorney’s Crime Analysis program, with a 12 month renewal that includes $51,579 in federal funds to enhance gang information and intelligence-sharing, and contribute to information-sharing systemic improvements during the period October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the grant program will fund 100 percent of the salary and benefits for a full-time Victim Witness Coordinator in the Domestic Division, and is comprised of $51,579 in federal funds, a required match of $17,193, and additional match of $116 for a program total of $68.888; and
WHEREAS, the grant renewal must be formally accepted by Lake County.
