* The selected firm has a satisfactory past relationship with the Lake County Division of Transportation.
* The selected, and recommended, firm is BLA, Inc., Itasca, Illinois, at a cost of $254,640.
* This project is included in the Transportation Improvement Program with constructed targeted in 2021, and designated as Section 20-00999-72-RS.

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, 33rd Street, County Highway 50, Kenosha Road, County Highway 53, and Russell Road, County Highway 19, are designated routes on the County highway system; and

WHEREAS, it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the motoring public if 33rd Street, Kenosha Road, and Russell Road, could be resurfaced; and

WHEREAS, it is recommended that a consultant engineering firm be employed to provide Phase II design engineering services for said proposed resurfacing; and

WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, has selected a professional engineering services firm in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act (50 ILCS 510/1 et. seq.); and

WHEREAS, BLA, Inc. are consultant engineers skilled in the provision of said Phase II design engineering services.
