* The resolution authorizes the County Chair to execute the MOU with Fox Lake and LRSD.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the County of Lake (County) owns, operates and maintains lift stations and interceptor sewers and provides sewer services to communities within the Northwest Lake Facility Planning Area (FPA); and
WHEREAS, the Village of Fox Lake (Village) owns, operates and maintains the Northwest Regional Water Reclamation Facility and provides sewage treatment services to communities within the Northwest Lake FPA; and
WHEREAS, the Lakes Region Sanitary District (District) owns, operates and maintains lift stations and sanitary sewers and provides local sewer service to communities within the Northwest Lake FPA; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Memorandum of Understanding will allow the parties to evaluate shared services and other opportunities related to sanitary sewer services within the Northwest Lake County Service Area; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois that the County Board Chair is hereby authorized to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with the Village of Fox Lake and Lakes Region Sanitary District related to shared services options for sanitary sewer services in Northwest Lake County in substantially the form attached.
