RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Clerk's Office has received a grant from the Illinois State Board of Elections for election security and costs associated with its voter registration system; and
WHEREAS, these grant funds facilitate communication with the Centralized Statewide Voter Registration System as required by Title III Section 303 of the Help America Vote Act of 2002; and
WHEREAS, this grant amount of $291,655 in grant funding has not been previously appropriated, having been awarded after adoption of the FY 2023 budget.
