Staff Summary

                     Change orders need to be approved by the standing committees for cumulative net increases over 10%.

                     The Phase II Engineering for Washington Street project is under an original awarded contract at a maximum amount of $348,447.36.

                     Change order No. 1 covers additional engineering to complete the plans and specifications that is outside the scope of the original contract.

                     The original appropriation of $420,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds is sufficient. No additional appropriation is necessary.  Summary:  Original awarded Phase II Engineering - $348,447.36; Change Order No. 1 - 49,800; and Sum of all changes - $49,800.
