WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 4-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for Vehicle Collision Repairs; and
WHEREAS, Invitations for Bids were extended to twenty-four (24) vendors and sealed bids were received on September 16, 2010 from three (3) vendors; and
WHEREAS, Libertyville Auto Body, Libertyville, IL is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in the total estimated annual amount of $62,250, other bids ranged from $66,750 to $67,500.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to enter into a one (1) year contract with renewals for Vehicle Collision Repairs with Libertyville Auto Body, Libertyville, IL in the estimated annual amount of $62,250, charging various accounts.
