Staff Summary
• An annual audit of the Public Works Department’s Enterprise Fund is conducted as a separate audit from the County Corporate Fund, with revenues and expenses audited relative to water and sewer activities.
• Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP was hired by the County to conduct the Public Works’ Enterprise audit and has prepared a financial statements’ report in addition to a Management’s Discussion and Analysis for years ending 2014 and 2015.
• Also included are statements of income and expenses for three regional sanitary systems as required under certain wholesale contract agreements.
• Audit highlights and a review of the FY 2015 financial statements will be provided by Ms. Jodi Dobson, CPA, Partner of Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP.
