Joint resolution appropriating $75,000 of County Bridge Tax funds for fiscal (FY) 2016 miscellaneous engineering services and water quality monitoring services needed to meet the minimum requirements of the new Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) General National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) ILR40 Permit for Lake County, and designated as Section 16-00000-18-GM.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, operates a Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) and is required to comply with the reissued IEPA permit for the discharge of storm water; and
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, needs to acquire miscellaneous services to address needed program enhancements and water quality monitoring requirements; and
WHEREAS, in order to acquire necessary miscellaneous services, an appropriation of funds is required.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $75,000 of County Bridge Tax funds for FY2016 miscellaneous services needed to meet the minimum requirements of the new IEPA General NPDES ILR40 Permit for Lake County, and designated as Section 16-00000-18-GM.
