R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the maintenance of traffic control signals, street lights and Lake County PASSAGE field elements for the period from December 1, 2011, to November 30, 2012, and designated as Section 12-00000-01-GM; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on August 23, 2011, at 10:00 AM at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois. A tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined the bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Meade Electric Company, McCook, Illinois, their bid being $1,014,831 based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, this Lake County Board, Illinois, by prior resolution at its meeting of July 12, 2011, appropriated $1,100,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the maintenance of traffic control signals, street lights and Lake County PASSAGE field elements.
