Report concerning the Park District of Grandwood Park’s request for access and use of County property.
Staff Summary
• The County currently has a lease agreement with the Park District of Grandwood Park for use of a parking area at the County’s water tower site located at Grandwood and Hutchins Drive.
• The District has requested access and use of additional County property at the same location.
• In exchange for access, the District will provide landscape maintenance, agree to not install permanent fixtures, and provide appropriate liability coverage.
• Committee discussion and feedback on this proposal is requested.
