· This amendment designates the remaining portion of Peterson Road, from Illinois Route 83 to a point 3000 feet west of US Route 45, as a Class II Truck Route.

ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
WHEREAS, the Lake County Board, at its meeting of July 9, 1991, adopted an ordinance dealing with the weight limits and has revised it from time to time; the current ordinance is contained in Appendix I; and
WHEREAS, the Lake County Board deems it in the public interest to further codify, refine and establish limitations on the operation of vehicles and weight thereof on the County Highway System.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED that the Lake County Board hereby adopts the following revision to the Lake County Highway Weight Control Ordinance to be effective upon passage in accordance with Chapter 625, Act 5, Section 15-102(e), Section 15-107(e), and Section 15-111(f) of the Illinois Compiled Statutes and the resulting codified version is herein contained in Appendix II.
