RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication for vehicle accessories and upfitting for the Lake County Sheriff’s Office; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, an Invitation to Bid was extended to seven vendors; and
WHEREAS, electronic bids were received from three vendors; and opened by the Lake County Purchasing Department; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the bid, Chicago Parts and Sound, LLC was determined to be in the best interest of Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is authorized to enter into a contract with Chicago Parts and Sound, LLC in Tinley Park, Illinois, in the estimated annual amount of $607,876 for vehicle accessories and upfitting.
