RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lake County Public Works has a need to repaint approximately 530 hydrants; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, a bid was called for the fire hydrant preparation and painting at various locations within Lake County Public Works; and
WHEREAS, Muscat Co., was determined to be the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in the amount of $60,950; and
WHEREAS, the term of the contract will be two years with three one-year renewal options to allow for future projects with services based on approved contract unit prices.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract with Muscat Co., of Dundee, Illinois in the amount of $60,950 for the Fire Hydrant Painting contract.
