· This resolution authorizes the execution of an agreement with the City of Waukegan for their portion of the cost of the intersection of Delany Road at Continental Drive and Delany Road at Blanchard Road.

WHEREAS, Delany Road (County Highway 22) is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, in order to provide for the free flow of traffic and ensure the safety of the motoring public, Lake County proposes to improve Delany Road from Sunset Avenue to York House Road by widening, resurfacing, and reconstruction, said improvement designated as Section 00-00093-17-WR; and
WHEREAS, the City of Waukegan is desirous of Lake County to include in the above-proposed improvement certain improvements to the intersections of Delany Road at Continental Drive and Delany Road at Blanchard Road; and
WHEREAS, Lake County and the City of Waukegan are desirous of entering into an agreement providing the terms and conditions for the above-said improvement to the intersection of Delany Road at Continental Drive and Delany Road at Blanchard Road, a draft copy attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Chair of the County Board, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County be authorized and they are hereby directed to execute an agreement pertaining to the financing of the above-named...
