· Before a project letting can be held, an appropriation of $1,710,000 of Matching Tax Funds is necessary.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Fairfield Road, County Highway 49, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if new steel pile retaining walls could be installed at three locations along Fairfield Road, from approximately 1750 feet north of Illinois Route 60 (the south project limits) to approximately 900 feet south of Townline Road (the north project limits); and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed, and this improvement is now ready to proceed to a contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $1,710,000 of Matching Tax funds for the installation of new steel pile retaining walls at three locations along Fairfield Road, from approximately 1750 feet north of Illinois Route 60 (the south project limits) to approximately 900 feet south of Townline Road (the north project limits), and designated as Section 13-00000-07-GM.
