Staff Summary

•                     Change Order No. 1 for additional consulting engineering work on the Diamond/Sylvan Lake Diversion Phase II Project is in the amount of $24,041.

•                     This change order includes additional engineering work to modify drawings and easement documents due to changes in the final location of a sanitary sewer lift station as required by the Village of Mundelein and the property owner.

•                     The addition of Change Order No. 1 increases the contract amount from $119,925 to $143,966 resulting in an overall project increase resulting in an overall project increase of 20.0%.

•                     Change orders that exceed 10% of the total contract amount must be approved by the PWT and FA Committees.
