• Lake County has negotiated favorable terms for a nine month lease in the amount of $1.38 per square foot, totaling $5,057 monthly.

WHEREAS, there is a need to lease office space for the States Attorney’s Office due the restacking of the administrative tower; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Finance and Administrative Services has determined that suite 201-203, consisting of 3,678 square feet can accommodate the temporary relocation of the States Attorney’s Office staff; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Illinois Statue 55 ILCS 5/5 - 1083 the County Board Chairman is authorized to enter into this lease agreement; and
WHEREAS, the County has been able to negotiate a favorable rate of $1.38 per square foot, for leased space at 415 Washington Street, Waukegan, IL.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Chairman of the Board be authorized to execute the attached lease for Suite 201-203 for 3,678 square feet in the amount of $1.38 per square foot totaling $5,057 per month charging the costs thereof to account 101-1103340-82020-000-000-000-00000.
