Report on the draft agreement for retail sanitary service to the Village of Bannockburn.

Staff Summary

·      The current sanitary sewer agreement with the Village of Bannockburn has expired and a new agreement is under development.

·      The Village has requested that the new agreement be developed for retail sanitary service and would provide that the Village transfer the ownership of local lines, which would include all operation, maintenance, and billing services, to the County.

·      The proposed service area is tributary to the County's Southeast Sanitary Sewer System and would provide more complete and timely service response to the subject area.

·      A review of the draft agreement will be presented for Committee discussion and input.
