• The amount needed for Modification Number One exceeds the available budget in Fund 106 in Fiscal Year 2026, as the unused funds from Fiscal Year 2025 were not carried over to Fiscal Year 2026.
• The uncommitted fund balance in the Capital Improvement Program Fund 106 is sufficient to cover this emergency appropriation.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Modification Number One to the contract with FGM Architects exceeds the available budget in Capital Improvement Program Fund 106 in Fiscal Year 2026; and
WHEREAS, Capital Improvement Program Fund 106 has sufficient reserves in its fund balance to cover Modification Number One to the contract with FGM Architects; and
WHEREAS, an emergency appropriation is necessary to provide sufficient funding for Modification Number One.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation from fund balance from the Capital Improvement Program Fund 106 in the amount of $2,746,416 to the account number in the attached file is hereby authorized.
