Staff Summary

•                     The Illinois Court Technology Modernization Program will provide new equipment and infrastructure enhancements to the 19^th Judicial Circuit Court and Law Library that will offer additional services benefiting the court, court users and justice partners.

•                     The additional funding will bring the total awarded project to $1,096,863.95 from the original funded amount of 1,027,412.64.

•                     The Illinois Court Technology Modernization Program funding period is March 7, 2022 through June 30, 2022.

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The Supreme Court of Illinois has provided a Court Technology Modernization Program Funding Agreement totaling $1,096,863.95 with the additional funding amount of $69,451.31; and

WHEREAS, The Illinois Court Technology Modernization Program will provide new equipment and infrastructure enhancements to the 19^th Judicial Circuit Court and Law Library that will offer additional services benefiting the court, court users and justice partners.; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the County Board authorizes an emergency appropriation in the amount of $69,451.31 to implement the Funding Agreement of the Supreme Court of Illinois Court Technology Modernization Program for the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit for the period of March 7, 2022 through June 30, 2022; and
