· This resolution authorizes the execution of an agreement between the LCFPD and Lake County for this improvement and appropriates $175,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Grass Lake Road (County Highway 18) is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, proposes to have constructed a bike path along the south side of Grass Lake Road connecting the Hastings Lake Forest Preserve Trail to the Lindenhurst Park District Trail System (the Hastings Lake Forest Preserve Connector); and
WHEREAS, the Lake County Forest Preserve District (LCFPD) and Lake County are desirous of entering into an agreement stating the terms and conditions by which Lake County will reimburse the LCFPD for 100 % of the construction cost of the said Hastings Lake Forest Preserve Connector, and Lake County will provide construction engineering supervision at no cost to the LCFPD, a draft copy of which is attached hereto; and
