· In order to accommodate the construction of a bike path along the Midlothian Road extension a recreational lease is needed from said Commonwealth Edison Company.
· This resolution authorizes the execution of a recreational lease agreement with Commonwealth Edison.
Body
WHEREAS, Midlothian Road (County Highway 48) is a designated route on the county highway system; and

WHEREAS, Midlothian Road will be extended northerly from the existing fairground entrance to Harris Road; and

WHEREAS, Lake County by and through its Division of Transportation has caused to be prepared preliminary plans and specifications and proposes to construct a bike path in conjunction with said extension; and

WHEREAS, Commonwealth Edison Company, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, is the owner of property situated within and adjacent to the new right-of-way lines of Midlothian Road; and


WHEREAS, Lake County and Commonwealth Edison Company are desirous of entering into a recreational lease agreement stating the terms and conditions by which Commonwealth Edison Company will grant a lease to the Division of Transportation in order to provide for the construction of a bike path in conjunction with extension of Midlothian Road,...
