· Fairfield/ Gilmer/ Old McHenry Road Resurfacing Engineering Services: LCDOT Change Order No. 1
· Change Orders need to be approved by the standing committees for cumulative net increases over 10%.
· The Fairfield/ Gilmer/ Old McHenry Road Resurfacing is under contract with McClure Engineering Associates Inc, in the amount of $99,553.80 originally assuming only local funding.
· The consultant was directed to prepare the resurfacing plans in 3 formats during the time the LCDOT was attempting to get ARRA funding for all or a portion of these projects:
o Fairfield, Gilmer and Old McHenry Roads for local letting
o Gilmer and Old McHenry Roads for local letting
o Fairfield Road for federal letting.
· Lake County Council of Mayors "B List projects" were just recently federally funded due to low bids on the "A list projects".
· Therefore the Fairfield Road portion will be federally let (Federal Funds @ $1,173,480 - 70%).
· The Gilmer and Old McHenry portion will be locally funded and separately let.
· Summary: original awarded contract - $99,553.80; Change Order No.1 - $19,934.05; sum of all changes - $19,934.05
