R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Petite Lake Road, County Highway 51, from Fairfield Road, County Highway 49, to IL Rte. 83 is a designated route on the county highway system; and
WHEREAS, the free flow of traffic along Petite Lake Road from Fairfield Road to IL Rte. 83 is beneficial to the safety and welfare to the State of Illinois and the county as a whole; and
WHEREAS, Lake County believes it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Petite Lake Road from Fairfield Road to IL Rte. 83 could be improved by widening and reconstruction and including its realignment at its intersection of IL Rte. 83 northerly of its present location and including provision for the detention of stormwater; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of cost for this improvement have been completed and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board that there is hereby appropriated $365,800 of County Bridge Tax funds, $3,801,700 of Motor Fuel Tax funds, $2,636,500 of ¼% Sales ...
