WHEREAS, the Law Library provides legal references, resources and services in support of Lake County's legal community and citizens.

WHEREAS, one of the Law Library's major expenses is books; many of which are purchased from Westlaw.

WHEREAS, increases to Westlaw's contract were unknown when the FY13 budget was passed.

WHEREAS, the Law Library's FY13 budget must be increased by $15,000 to accommodate the increase

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation in the FY13 Law Library Fund in account 252-3220010-61030 in the amount of $15,000 is hereby authorized.
