R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, the free flow of traffic, along Illinois highways in Lake County, is beneficial to the safety and welfare of the State of Illinois and the County as a whole; and

WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County believe it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if the Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT) performed routine snow and ice control work on approximately 107 lane miles of Illinois highways that are designated as "State routes" within Lake County, a list is attached hereto; and

WHEREAS, IDOT will provide Lake County $268,463 for the services performed; and

WHEREAS, IDOT and Lake County are desirous of entering into an agreement stating the terms and conditions fo...
