·      The Rate Ordinance establishes all water and sewer user rates and connection fees for the County's water and sewer systems.

·      The Ordinance is revised periodically to modify rates and fees, as necessary. This proposed Ordinance revision includes three items.

·      Establishes the new Hawthorn Woods - Glennshire water rate as $5.33/1,000 gallons, which includes the cost of purchasing water from Aqua, Inc. at $2.10/1,000 gallons.

·      Establishes the new Riverside Preserve sewer rate as $56.60 per RCE per month. Riverside Preserve is a residential subdivision in Mettawa. The new rate is higher compared to other rates because of the size of the homes and because we are required to maintain individual grinder/lift stations for each home.

·      Increase each of the three NEC connection fees by $40 to reflect the NSSD annual connection fee change.
