Report on groundwater supply for County’s Fox Lake Hills and Grandwood Park water systems.
Staff Summary
• Groundwater is the current source of water for the County’s Fox Lake Hills and Grandwood Park water systems.
• As part of the Lake Michigan Water Planning Groups’ efforts to transition to a Lake Michigan water source, a ground water assessment was conducted for each of the Planning Group members.
• Groundwater supply planning white papers were developed for each of the (8) eight members by a groundwater specialist Larry Thomas, of Baxter & Woodman, Inc.
• Mr. Thomas will provide an overview, assessment of current conditions, and potential issues associated with groundwater resources in our systems.
