· The Wauconda Fire District desires to construct a fire station at 1300 South Gilmer Road within the Village of Volo.
· In order to provide for said Wauconda Fire District fire station Lake County needs to grant full access to Gilmer Road.
· An addendum to the Village of Volo Transportation Agreement is required in order to accommodate this access.
Body

WHEREAS, this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, by prior resolution authorized the execution of an agreement between the Village of Volo and Lake County, titled the Village of Volo Transportation Agreement; and

WHEREAS, the above-said agreement between Lake County and the Village of Volo addressed future development along Gilmer Road (County Highway 26) and related access to/from Gilmer Road; and

WHEREAS, the Village now desires to have constructed an additional, unsignalized full access off Gilmer Road for the exclusive use of the Wauconda Fire District; and

WHEREAS, Wauconda Fire District is to construct or cause to be constructed said full access; and

WHEREAS, said full access was not contemplated in the original Volo Transportation Agreement; and

WHEREAS, Lake County and the Village of Volo are desirous of amending said Volo Transportation Agreement in order to provide full access to Gilmer Road for the Wauconda Fire District, a draft copy of addendum # 1 attached hereto

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Chair of the County Board, the County Clerk and the County Engineer of Lake County are authorized and they are hereby directed to execute, an amendment to the Volo ...
