RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, a segment of Harris Road is still under the jurisdiction of the Village of Grayslake; and


WHEREAS, this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, by prior resolution at its meeting of July 12, 1994 added a portion of Harris Road south of IL Route 137 to IL Route 137 as a designated highway to the county highway system; and

WHEREAS, the Village of Grayslake and Lake County are desirous of entering into an agreement for the jurisdictional transfer to Lake County of the one remaining segment of Harris Road from IL Route 137 to Peterson Road from the Village of Grayslake to Lake County to become part of the Midlothian Road Extension in its entirety as generally depicted in the map attached as Addendum I to said agreement; and

WHEREAS, a draft copy of said agreement between the Village of Grayslake and the County is attached hereto entitled as Local Agency Agreement for Jurisdictional Transfer.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County that the County Engineer of Lake County is authorized and is hereby directed to negotiate and prepare the final Local Agency Agreement for Jurisdictional Transfer from the Village of Grayslake to Lake County for the one remaining segment of Harris Roa...
