Resolution recommending the appointment of Collin M. O’Rourke as a member of the Lake County Board, representing District 8, and as a member of the Planning, Building and Zoning Committee.

Body

WHEREAS, due to the resignation of Robert Sabonjian, there now exists a vacancy in the District 8 County Board seat; and

WHEREAS, your Chairman recommends Collin M. O’Rourke be appointed to represent the county’s 8^th District on the County Board; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 5/25-11 of the Election Code, Collin M. O’Rourke shall serve until the next general election at which time the office shall be filled by election for the remainder of the four year term; and

WHEREAS, your Chairman also recommends the appointment of Collin M. O’Rourke to fill the vacancy on the Planning, Building and Zoning Committee.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that Collin M. O’Rourke is hereby appointed as the District 8 representative on the Lake County Board, and as a member of the Planning, Building and Zoning Committee.
