RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there is a need to enter into a contract with a successful vendor to provide collision repair services for Lake County; and
WHEREAS, the contractor shall perform repairs in accordance with the appraisals and specifications, including pick-up, delivery, for the percentage discount bid off said appraisals for labor and body parts; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, a bid was called for by publication for Collision Repair Services for the Lake County Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from four vendors at the Lake County Administrative Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on March 17, 2016; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the bid; the staff evaluated all bids submitted and determined that the bid submitted by Allanson Auto Body, Mundelein, Illinois, in the amount of $83,122 is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for Lake County.
