Staff Summary

                     The Director of Public Works is seeking to add a full-time, Grade Salary 20, Assistant Director.

                     The underlying need to add the position is due to the significant growth of the Department and increased workload, due to additional Intergovernmental Agreements and increased capital projects. Duties would be delegated and assigned as described in the attached Organizational Chart and Job Descriptions.

                     The addition of a second Assistant Director will increase the headcount for full-time employees from 99 to 100.
