R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Arlington Heights Rd. (County Highway 79) is a designated route on the county highway system; and

WHEREAS, the precast concrete deck beams of the bridge carrying northbound Arlington Heights Rd. over Buffalo Creek are at the end of their useful life; and

WHEREAS, the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has allocated Lake County federal Highway Bridge Replacement funds (HBR) for the proposed replacement of precast concrete deck beams of the bridge carrying northbound Arlington Heights Rd. over Buffalo Creek; and

WHEREAS, the Phase I preliminary engineering study for the proposed improvement has been completed, and Phase II design engineering needs to begin; and,

WHEREAS, it is advisable that a firm be employed to provide professional services for design of the replacement of the precast concrete deck beams on the ...
