Provider Collaboration
• Dr. Brian Salzverg, full-time Psychiatrist for our Libertyville Health Center started on October 14.
• Dr. Mussarat Arshad, full-time Pediatrician for our Belvidere Medical Building will start in January 2020.
• Daniel Campos, full-time Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) for our School-Based Health Center started on October 14.
• Kerrie Nace and Shonda Gagliano, Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) will be joining our Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program as part of the FQHC.
• The new full-time Family Medicine physician that was planned to start at the North Chicago Health Center in October recently declined our offer due to a family situation.
Clinic Operations
• North Chicago Health Center, with the assistance of The Coleman Associates, has reduced their no-show rate from 28% to 20%.
• Annette Betancur, our new Practice Manager who will oversee the Midlakes Health Center/School-Based Health Center and Zion Health Center, started October 14.
External Relations
• An agreement with Rosalind Franklin University concerning compensation for some educational activity is being reviewed.
• Patient referral to Rosalind Franklin for podiatry services has been arranged.
