Staff Summary

•                     In November 2008, the County Board awarded a Brownfield grant for $100,000 to the City of Waukegan for site preparation of the Waukegan Harbor Slip 3 for re-use as a boat storage facility.

•                     The Brownfield grant agreement will expire in November 2011.

•                     The City is requesting a third one-year extension to the grant award.

•                     Representatives from the City will be available to answer questions.
