RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Patricia Jones resigned from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Merit Commission effective March 3, 2023; and

WHEREAS, the resignation of Patricia Jones creates a vacancy on the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Merit Commission; and

WHEREAS, your Chair requests that this County Board confirm the appointment of Candace Aisha May as a member of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Merit Commission to complete the remaining term of this vacancy, beginning immediately and ending on December 14, 2023.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the appointment of Candace Aisha May as a member of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Merit Commission for a term beginning immediately and ending on December 14, 2023, be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
