RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lake County is the recipient of grants, some of which are accounted for with property tax funds in departmental budgets; and
WHEREAS, a best practice to ensure efficient administration and operation of grant programs includes separating grant activity from operating activity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that a new fund, namely the Grants Fund, Fund 201, will be created and utilized beginning in Fiscal Year 2027.
