Staff Summary
· Lake County desires to enter into a one year lease with renewal options for the lease of 50 parking spaces at the 415 Executive Center.
· As the County shifts from directing incoming jurors from the north to the south campus entry, there is a need for overflow juror parking across the street from the Babcox Justice Center.
· The parking at 415 Executive Center, which is adjacent to the newly constructed County parking lots, will allow all jurors to travel to and from the same location.
· The lease will commence as of June 1, 2014 and will continue for one year with renewal options.
· Lake County will pay $30 per space per month for 50 spaces for a total annual cost of $18,600.

WHEREAS, Lake County desires to enter into a one year lease with renewal options for the lease of 50 parking spaces at the 415 Executive Center; and
WHEREAS, the current lease will commence as of June 1, 2014 and will continue for one year with options to renew the lease; and
WHEREAS, the annual cost of the lease will be $18,600.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized to enter into a one year lease of 50 parking spaces at the 415 Executive Center, Waukegan, IL in the amount of $18,600 to be charged to account #101-1220010-72510.
