The Communications Office and Emergency Management Program have been working on an emergency preparedness marketing campaign. The campaign is funded through a bioterrorism grant. The goals of the campaign are:
• To reach diverse audiences with information about being prepared for emergencies.
• Remind residents that in the case of an illness outbreak or bioterrorism event, they should go to their local polling places to pick up medicine for their families.
• Remind residents that a flu pandemic could occur in the near future and how to minimize the risk of exposure.
