Staff Summary

•                     In 2008 the County awarded a $100,000 Brownfield Grant to Waukegan for environmental cleanup activities at the Former Harbor Slip 3.

•                     In 2009 a one-year extension that will expire on October 31, 2010 was granted.

•                     Waukegan has provided a letter describing the status of the project which is attached.

•                     Representatives from Waukegan will be present to answer questions.
