R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, to provide crack sealing of asphalt and concrete pavements, where necessary, on various County highways, and designated as Section 13-00000-04-GM; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on February 19, 2013, at 10:00 AM at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer, and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Behm Pavement Maintenance, Crystal Lake, Illinois, in the amount of $38,427.05, based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, this Lake County Board, by prior resolution at its meeting of January 15, 2013, appropriated $60,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the improvement of the aforesaid section.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that a contract be awarded to said Behm Pavement Maintenance, Crystal Lake, Illinois, in the amount of $38,427....
