· The Information and Technology department has a bid-exempt requirement for the purchase of consulting services from URL Integration to implement key Court document exchanges with the States Attorney and Public Defender, and to develop schema and technical requirements for the new Case Management System for the Public Defender as part of Integrated Justice.
· Lake County has a long standing and successful relationship with URL Integration who has provided professional services for the integration of justice agencies.
· The Purchasing Agent convened an ad hoc group that approved bid exemption on the basis of the long standing, successful relationship. The knowledge gained through this relationship adds value integral to the services provided.
· This contract will cost the County an amount not to exceed $502,356.00 charged to 101-1103160-71150-000-000-000-00000.
