Staff Summary
• The FY2011 adopted budget assumed direct funding for one Corporate Fund position, but direct funding could not be done.
• Instead, the Regional Office of Education has agreed to reimburse the Corporate Fund for the wage and benefit costs associated with the Executive Assistant / Chief Certification Officer position for FY2011 in the amount of $69,516 from its Institute Fund.
• It is necessary to appropriate an additional $69,516 in the General Fund in revenues and expenses.

WHEREAS, the FY2011 adopted budget assumed direct funding for one corporate fund position, but direct funding could not be done; and,
WHEREAS, the Regional Office of Education has agreed to reimburse the Corporate Fund for the wage and benefit costs of the Executive Assistant / Chief Certification Officer position in the amount of $69,516 for FY2011 from its Institute Fund; and,
WHEREAS, these funds were not included in the County Fiscal Year 2011 budget, so it is therefore necessary to appropriate this funding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that it hereby authorizes an emergency appropriation of $69,516 in additional funding for the Executive Assistant / Chief Certification Officer position for FY2011 in the following accounts:
$46,670 in 101-2400010-51110-000-000-000-00000;
$13,937 101-2400010-74080-000-000-000-00000;
$ 3,570 in 101-2400010-74100-000-000-000-00000;
$ 5,339 101-2400010-74110-000-000-000-00000; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the reimbursement from the Institute Fund shall be deposited in revenue account 101-2400010-45280-000-000-000-00000.
