RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, every two years the County Board goes through a reorganization process; and
WHEREAS, this reorganization process begins at the County Board’s first meeting in the month following the month in which the County Board Members are elected; and
WHEREAS, during this first meeting a Rules Committee, comprised of Members of the County Board, is appointed; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Rules Committee is to review, update, as necessary, and recommend adoption of the Rules of Order and Operational Procedures of the Lake County Board; and
WHEREAS, the Rules Committee has reviewed and will forward the updated Rules of Order and Operational Procedures of the Lake County Board once approved by the Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the Rules of Order and Operational Procedures of the Lake County Board are approved.
