As a federally qualified health center (FQHC), who applies annually for Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) malpractice insurance, the Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center (LCHD/CHC) is required to develop and implement an annual healthcare risk management training plan based on areas of highest clinical risk for the health center. This training plan includes detailed information related to oversight of the plan, required training topics, and tracking and documentation methods.
